Anchorage Tour and Transfers picked us up on time at our hotel (after may changes made on my part) and drove us directly to the cruise terminal in Whittier. Our tour guide stopped along the way for pictures and explained a lot about the area. And the price was right too, great service all around!

Turnagain Arm Transfer Tours (Half Day)
This is our most popular transfer option which features live tour commentary from professional guides and photo stops at Beluga Point and Summit Lake (Seward) or Beluga Point and Portage Glacier (Whittier).
Also included on all sightseeing tour transfers is an approximately one hour visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to view Alaska's most famous animals up close in a natural setting. During this visit you'll get great pictures of real live Bears, Moose, Muskox, Caribou, Bison, and more. Admission fees to the Wildlife Center are included. This is the perfect way to start or end your Alaska cruise.

We really enjoyed our transfer package to our cruise ship in Whittier. It was so much cheaper than going through our cruise line! The ride was comfortable, and our tour guide Judy was very entertaining and full of knowledge about the Anchorage area. We enjoyed our stop at the Alaska conservation center, and Judy got us to Whittier on time as promised. We wouldn't hesitate to use this service again.

Full Day Transfer Tours (Private Only)
Disembark your cruise ship and board the bus about 8:00 AM. Take a quick look at a small-boat harbor that is filled with pleasure craft as well as commercial fishing vessels and tour boats. Enjoy the ride on Seward Highway through the pristine Kenai Mountains above and below tree line. Pass through Moose Pass with wonderful views of pristine mountains, glaciers, and wildlife. Scenic photo stop at Canyon Creek overlook.
Next visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where you can view bison, elk, eagles, moose, caribou, and musk oxen in a natural setting. Continue on the highway, view the remains of Portage, a small town ravaged in the 1964 earthquake.
Next stop is at Girdwood at Alyeska Ski Resort. Take a tram up the Alyeska Mountain 2,300 feet to enjoy the spectacular views of seven glaciers, majestic mountains and Turnagain Arm (if weather permits). Eat lunch (variety of sandwiches, snacks, and water) on top of the mountain with breathtaking views.
Continuing North on the Seward highway, Turnagain Arm stretches on the left side of the road, where often you can see Dall sheep at Windy point or beluga whales at Beluga point. Arrive in Anchorage – largest city in Alaska.
Visit the site of the original tent city that started in the Ship Creek area and now also occupied by Alaska Railroad Depot. Take a quick look at the salmon in the creek and watch the fish running up the stream. Watch the locals trying to catch the salmon.
Next see the Earthquake Park, which now stands on the land liquefied – swallowing the coast line when the “Good Friday” earthquake rocked Anchorage in March of 1964. This is a great opportunity to see Cook Inlet and the whole city from the distance.
Next you will get to see Lake Hood, which is the largest and busiest floatplane base in the world. Lake Hood is a great place to relax and watch the many landings and takeoffs of floatplanes. We will drop off anywhere in Anchorage after the tour ends.

We had a GREAT tour guide, "JIM"; he told us all about Alaska, we had LOTS of photo opps. & he had a great & fun sense of humor. He is extremely knowledgable about Alaska, sharing fun & interesting facts all along the way. Our whole group loved him. He took us to Girdwood where we took the tram up Mt. Alyeska, we then went to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center & then he dropped us off at the Marriott. GREAT JOB EVERYONE & Hi Jim !!!
